AeroPress Americano

AeroPress coffee diluted with hot water.

Ingredients

  • Coffee beans — 24 grams
  • Hot water — 80 grams

Equipment

  • Hario Scale
  • Ode Grinder
  • Fellow Prismo attachment
  • Aeropress

Instructions

  1. Heat water to 208-212°F
  2. Grind coffee to espresso grind (Fellow Ode Grinder Level 1-2)
  3. Invert Aeropress with plunger pressed down 1/4 of the way into the AeroPress
  4. Add coffee to AeroPress
  5. Pour 80 grams water and stir for 20 seconds
  6. Steep for another 70 seconds (1:30 minutes total)
  7. Attach Fellow Prismo attachment to AeroPress
  8. Flip Aeropress on top of mug/glass
  9. Press with consistently through full extraction
  10. Dilute with 60-80 grams of hot water to taste
