C70 Ceramic Pour Over

The C70's 70° filter creates a 30% taller brew column for increased extraction and a cleaner cup of coffee.

Ingredients

  • Coffee beans — 24g
  • Hot water — 315ml

  • Kinto Carafe

Instructions

  1. Heat water to 204°F/96°C
  2. Grind coffee to medium (Fellow Ode or Opus Grinder Setting of 4-6)
  3. Place C70 filter in brewer and rinse with hot water
  4. Add coffee grounds and create a small well
  5. Start with 60 gram bloom pour, wait 30 seconds
  6. At 30 seconds: Add 60 grams of water in circular motion, don't touch edges
  7. At 1:00: Add 40 grams of water in circular motion
  8. At 1:30: Add 40 grams of water in circular motion
  9. At 1:45: Add 40 grams of water, straight pour down center
  10. At 2:00: Add 40 grams of water, straight pour down center
  11. At 2:15: Add 35 grams of water, straight pour down center
  12. Total brew time should be 3:30 (3 minutes 30 seconds)
