Hario V60

Precision pour-over method for bright, clean coffee.

Ingredients

  • Coffee beans — 24g
  • Hot water — 315ml

Equipment

  • Stagg EKG Electric Kettle
  • Hario Scale
  • Ode Grinder
  • Hario V60 Dripper
  • V60 Filters
  • Kinto Carafe

Instructions

  1. Heat water to 205°F
  2. Grind coffee to medium-fine (Fellow Ode Grinder Level 5-6)
  3. Place V60 filter in dripper and rinse with hot water
  4. Add coffee grounds and create a small well
  5. Start with 50 grams for bloom pour, wait 30 seconds
  6. Pour in slow, steady spirals from center to edge
  7. Maintain water level 1cm below rim
  8. Stop at 315ml of water
  9. Total brew time should be 2:30-3:30
  10. Remove dripper and serve
